Metro (via The Sun) reports that Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle is to follow in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell and Lindsay Lohan by accepting a cameo role in Ugly Betty.

Given the long-standing rumours that Ugly Betty’s future is far from assured - not to mention Boyle’s apparent fragility - we’re taking this story with a pinch of salt.

However, an insider has claimed: ‘Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen.’

Hmmm…
